Blinken Shuttles In West Asia To Contain Fallout Of The Israel-Hamas War

United States' top diplomat Antony Blinken has been shuttling between stakeholders in West Asia to contain a looming fallout of the Israel-Hamas war. In the latest, Blinken visited Turkiye, aiming to soothe the anger of one of Washington's most strategic but difficult allies. In what seems to be a snub to the U.S., the Turkish President will not meet Blinken as he will be travelling across the country. Blinken, also made an unannounced stop at Ramallah to meet Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas. He also visited Baghdad after holding talks with Foreign Ministers of Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt in Amman.
