The world's second largest desert has been almost completely submerged due to heavy rains.
Residents of Saudi Arabia say they have never seen such a flood in their lives. The heaviest rains have been falling here for more than a week with few interruptions.

On Saturday, November 26, heavy rainfall triggered a large-scale landslide on the Italian resort island of Ischia. The incident left at least one person dead and about 11 missing.

Officials said the island received 126 millimeters of rainfall in six hours. It is the highest amount of rainfall in 20 years. At least 100 people were left without electricity and water. About 170 people have been forced to relocate temporarily.
In addition, 15 buildings collapsed as a result of the displacement.
