Lugansk tank duel hero

Tanker Ivan Dodosov went to serve in Ukrainian conflict zone in February 2022. A graduate of the Kazan Tank School, he led a battalion of combat vehicles. During the battle for the city of Popasnaya, Ivan’s unit received task to break through the enemy’s defences on one of the sectors of the front. To complete a difficult combat mission, the fighters went to the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and destroyed eight enemy tanks without suffering losses. For heroism and valor, Ivan Dodosov was nominated for the title of Hero of Russia.
