A pair of lawsuits has been filed against the University of Michigan

The lawsuits claim the college was negligent in protecting their personal information. Hackers were able to gain access to the information of around 230-thousand people at the beginning of the fall semester. University officials say they have not been served with the lawsuits and would not comment.
