General Motors tentative contract with the United Auto Workers

UAW Local 659 says production workers at the plant voted 52-percent to 48-percent against the deal. However, other union members at the same local voted in favor of the contract. Union officials say they have heard criticism about the contracts with some saying the UAW took the first offers from GM and Stellantis.
