Shoulder Pain! Impingement! *STOP This Stretch* Do This Instead! | Dr Wil & Dr K
Many Folks come in complaining of shoulder issues. Specifically, these folks are presenting with excessive internal rotation of the shoulder resulting in pain & discomfort from the posterior aspect of the shoulder. Symptoms such as “Feels as if my shoulder is not in the socket” and “Shoulder feels tired” are common. Shoulder Impingement Syndrome may also be present. A common stretch is bringing the arm across the chest to stretch the back of the shoulder for relief. However, this stretch often promotes continuation of the problem. In this video, Dr Wil discusses a BETTER STRETCH and an EFFECTIVE EXERCISE to RESET/REPOSITION the head of the humerus in a more optimal position in the socket. Thereby eliminating this Common shoulder ailment.
