IDF blow up buildings and take out Hamas targets as troops surround Gaza with tanks and bulldozers. Israel has begun attacking deep into Gaza City to eliminate Hamas. Tanks, bulldozers and troops moved into the densely packed streets. Video showed IDF soldiers fighting house-to-house among rubble. They claimed to have killed one of Hamas’s leading weapons experts. And to have surrounded another commander inside a bunker. Meanwhile, Hamas fighters tried to ambush the IDF from the ruins. It is the first time in years that the IDF has been this deep into Gaza. And comes after they surrounded the city on Friday last week. Tens of thousands have fled Gaza City since fighting began. But many remain behind, and risk getting caught in the crossfire.
