This week we discuss the cost, process and benefit of paint protection film, vinyl, ceramic coating and various window and windshield tints for our 2022 Model X.

Our Model X was wrapped in the Battleship Gray vinyl wrap and Xpel stealth wrapped over the vinyl to provide an additional layer of protection. Every trim of the vehicle is then wrapped for protection and the windshield and all windows are tinted with a 5 layer nanoceramic tint in the Xpel XR Plus film to provide heat and UV rejection. The car and its interior and exterior are then ceramic coated for ease of maintenance and cleaning. The cost for this all-encompassing service is a little over $10,000.
