11-5-2023 Aren't Patriarchs Supposed to Learn From Their Mistakes?

Ever had the thought that your failures have sidelined you from the purpose God has for your life? Don't think that way. In this passage of Genesis (chapter 20), Abraham sinned the second time (the first time was to Pharaoh) by offering his wife Sarah to a pagan king. Despite that huge failure and detour, God prevented anything from happening to the couple so that his covenant with them would be fulfilled. He does the same for us as well. That's good news.
