Wheelchair user stretchered up a mountain to fulfil lifelong dream

A multiple sclerosis sufferer has fulfilled her dream of meeting gorillas in the wild after being stretched up a mountain.

Animal-loving Susie Twydell, 40, had given up hope of every seeing the magnificent beasts in their natural environment when MS left her wheelchair bound in 2012.

But she then discovered that porters at the Rwandan wildlife park would carry disabled people in stretchers to see the endangered mountain gorillas.
