President Mahmoud Abbas Assassination Attempt

On November 7, 2023, which marked the 1st month of the all-out war between Gazan factions and Israel, a convoy of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was attacked. During the incident, unknown gunmen fired upon his vehicle, and an armed clash ensued between them and President Abbas bodyguards. This follows the expiration of the ultimatum by the Sons of Abu Jandal organization that demanded Mahmoud Abbas 24 hours to take action against Israel or face a rebellion.
