Tempers flare in Montreal over intensifying Israel-Hamas conflict, Jewish schools targeted

Montreal officials are appealing for calm after two Jewish schools were struck by bullets overnight on Thursday.

It’s the latest in a string of incidents that are raising concerns about the rising tensions over the Israel-Hamas conflict, with two Jewish institutions the targets of “firebombing” earlier in the week.

Police were also called to Concordia University on Wednesday afternoon after three people were injured and one arrested after a violent clash broke out between students.
