Israeli forces in fierce gun battle with Hamas terrorist RPG team in Gaza streets. IDF soldiers fought fierce street battles with Hamas inside Gaza. Soldiers of the 252 Division moved into the town of Beit Hanoun. Which is located in the north east of the Gaza Strip, close to the border. Meanwhile troops of the Nahal Brigade, Israel’s main infantry formation pushed into the Jabaliya refugee camp, in the heart of Gaza City. Hamas fighters used rifles and rocket launchers to try and stop them. But the IDF says is troops are making progress and taking territory. The mission is to kill Hamas’s leaders, destroy its weapons and eliminate its tunnel network so it cannot attack Israel again. Such a fight may last months or years, according to analysts.
