Behold the Man: Jesus Christ

Kinsman Redeemer: one of the most beautiful love stories in the Bible is Jesus Christ and His bride (Ekklesia) as portrayed in the Book of Ruth. Also, on the first day of the barley harvest (firstfruits), the blowing of the trumpet, and the beginning of the “Head of the Year” - Rosh HaShanah, many conservative scholars believe the gentile Ruth and Boaz (Goel) reveal the “rapture of the church (Ekklesia).” Another school of thought is “Pentecost”, the night the Holy Spirit descended upon the 120 as a cloven tongue of fire and the enduing of power gave birth to the church (Ekklesia).
