God's Promise

"God's Promise" is a poem written by me in the mid 80's. I entered it in a poetry contest in 1989. It is published somewhere because of that!

Life had been a bit difficult up to (and past) this time. I was newly sober (for the first time), and just kind of contemplating life.
I wrote the first paragraph and stopped. I was stuck.
I truly believe, with ALL my heart, the Lord gave me the rest of the poem. Because of that, I asked him to bless everyone who reads it.
