State Dept refuses to recognize 4th Geneva Convention for Occupied Palestine - Sam Husseini

Recorded Nov 9, 2023. -- Journalist Sam Husseini questions the US State Department about the 4th Geneva Convention and the Hansell Memo as they apply to Occupied Palestine.

Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel claims that they expect Israel to abide by "international law," but refuses to answer Sam's simple questions: "Which law?" "The 4th Geneva Convention, or not?"

When Sam presses for clarity, Patel threatens to eject him.

"Their intentionally ambiguous response may be an attempt to turn Gaza into a free-fire zone," Sam commented on Twitter/X afterward.
