Sheltering and Treating 1000s, Gaza Hospitals In Israeli Crosshairs Turn Into Casualties Of War
Israel’s war on Hamas and bombardment in Gaza is taking a toll on key medical facilities in the besieged Palestinian enclave. Heavy fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas trapped thousands of people in Gaza's hospitals on Nov. 12. Medics and aid workers have warned that patients will die in the crippled facilities unless there is a pause in the battle. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society called on the international community to intervene "immediately and urgently" to protect people in Al-Quds Hospital. Al-Shifa hospital is "totally surrounded and bombardments are going on nearby", the hospital's director, Mohammad Abu Salmiya said. Watch this video to know more.
