Why Does The News Media Accept Hamas Propaganda So Easily?

Since the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas, news media outlets around the world have uncritically repeated Hamas claims, including that Gaza has no fuel, that Israel has killed thousands of civilians, that the group wants “civilians to go home,” and more.

But why does the news media so uncritically accept the claims of a genocidal terrorist group, rather than holding it accountable?
