Ep 87 1Tim 2 1-4 Praying for the King – Not Statism

Paul wrote that believers should pray for the "King." Who is a king and for what should we pray for them? I have a feeling that we are not praying for victory in the next election.
Keep in mind that we are all individuals, and we are rulers of our own lives. The prayer for the king should be the prayer for ourselves. And finally, where does Jesus fit in all this?
