Talking to operator 791 gulf Islands, Canada

I was able to make contact with Canada again from Southern California. He has a youtube channel and i got the audio/video when I made contact with him. The skip has been pretty good. I am surprised I make it up that far since I run a stock radio and a mobile rig with a Wilson 1000 Mag mount antenna. Most of the stations are running big base station antennas and really good radios some using extra power. Getting radios out to make sure they are in good working order just in case there is an emergency and i need a way to communicate.
