A Super Mario World rom hack made by Gamma V in 2017, Mario and Luigi: Kola Kingdom Quest is a Reboot of the 2015 hack, Super Mario Bros. 5 Reborn. Mario and Luigi are taking a much needed vacation in the Kola Kingdom when they learn that Bowser has taken over the Mushroom Kingdom in their absence. Now they must venture through the Kola Kingdom in order to return to their home and free it from Bowser's clutches.

In World 4, The Verdant Forest, the worlds are now getting longer, and the levels are getting more tricky. Not only do we get the 1st Fortress level, we also get an interesting level where lone mushrooms on the ground will now chase you down to kill you, going against every Mario game instinct to eat them. We also finally complete all the switch palaces and unlock a "Rainbow Bridge," whatever that means.
