The problems of rampant crime, drugs, and homelessness were solved seemingly overnight in San Francisco. Police are now stationed around the city, and crimes are now being prosecuted according to the law. It appears this recent change isn’t about public safety though. Instead it’s about making the city look good for an upcoming visit for CCP leader Xi Jinping. And the sudden shift has many people outraged, suggesting that the chaos in San Francisco has been fixable this whole time, and local officials were simply refusing to do so.
