Combat work of reconnaissance UAV crews

During the combat work of the UAV units in the Zaporozhye direction, crews of FPV drones and quadcopters with drops daily destroy a large number of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine trying to attack the positions of Russian paratroopers near the village of Verbovoye. UAV crews covertly move into a given area, from where they launch FPV drones. The crew, consisting of an operator and an assistant, moves to a given area, from where it prepares and launches a kamikaze drone. The operator, controlling the drone using special VR glasses, determines the target that needs to be destroyed. The assistant operator directly prepares the container with TNT and destructive elements, attaches it to the drone, launches the FPV drone, and also monitors the direction of its flight, orients the operator and corrects his work.

This time, the operator noticed three Ukrainian servicemen trying to hide in a strong point after an unsuccessful attempt to attack Russian positions and sent an FPV drone to destroy them. One Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman was killed, the other two, abandoning their comrade, quickly ran away to avoid being hit by a second strike from the FPV drone.

Subsequently, the crew of the attack drone hit a Western-made armored car moving towards the line of combat contact. Due to an FPV drone strike, the armored vehicle was disabled and its crew was killed.

In total, over the entire period of the special military operation, one of the UAV crews of paratroopers destroyed more than 500 military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and about 20 units of enemy armoured combat vehicles.
