#92 – Be A Responsible Gun Owner (Part 1)

DARREN WEEKLY - The topics of gun rights, gun ownership, and gun safety are frequently a topic of discussion and debate, especially in politics. And every time there is a “mass shooting” or crime committed with a firearm, or any time we enter an election cycle, the debate heats up again and again. But the constitutional right to bear arms and defend yourself, your family, and your loved ones is enshrined in and protected by the Bill of Rights.
 
With the ever-increasing levels of crime and chaos happening all around us, attempts to ban guns and make it more difficult for peaceful, law-abiding citizens to legally own guns, this is a really important topic.
 
Meet Sheriff Darren Weekly.
 
He is the Sheriff of Douglas County Colorado and an American patriot who does everything he can to keep our communities safe. Darren began his career in 1993, where at the age of 21 his first assignment was to work a long-term undercover operation in a local high school. During his career, he has served as a training officer, K9 handler, SWAT operator, and persons crimes detective. On November 8th, 2022 he was elected by the citizens to serve as the 34th Sheriff of Douglas county.
