Military personnel of the parachute battalions improve their skills under guidance of experienced mentors-instructors both in conducting defensive actions, both offensive. During the classes, live firing is carried out from standard weapons at the indicated goals.

Unit commanders control the actions of subordinates and provide assistance in decision making during performing of practical actions, close to combat. The acquired practical skills allow military personnel to be more effective act during combat work in the special military operation zone.
