My Shadows

"For you only have shadows when your life's filled with sun."

This poem made me reflect on the importance of motherhood and just how precious our children are. My wife is a loving mother to our four children (now adults) and an ever present grandmother to our seven grandchildren. Perhaps celebrating our 41st anniversary this past weekend made me more sentimental.
