MZTV 1348: Was the Prince of Tyrus Actually in "Eden" as the KJV Says?

Many Christian commentators believe that the prince of Tyrus, spoken of in Ezekiel chapter 28, is a secret name for "Satan." By this means they hope to make Satan a good angel who went bad of his own free will, relieving God of responsibility not only for Satan being an adversary, but for evil itself. Some juicy bait that God has put out for the theologians to snap pitiably at is that, in the King James Version, the prince of Tyrus is said to be in the Garden of Eden: "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God" (verse 13).

Either 1) the prince of Tyrus was a time-traveller and was actually in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, 2) "prince of Tyrus" actually IS a secret name for Satan, or 3) we have a translation issue here.
