Duy Luong is the senior scientist at Universal Matter, a company focused on developing cleaner, faster, more sustainable, and more economical technology to scale up the commercialization and production of graphene.

Luong is known for his discovery of flash-joule heating process, a method of running electrical current through (in this instance) carbon material to produce graphene in mass quantities.
