WARNING: Why I Won't Drive This New HOSS RC Until It Is Fixed

Did you click? I hope you did. It's a bit clickbait, but the problem with this RC is real and if it is happening to you, please stop driving it long before I did. I thought it was a fluke, but it isn't and this company refuses to change their battery compartment that fails on batteries other than their own.

You: But Tony, just buy their batteries.
Me: I already have 15+ 3s LiPo batteries to manage and try not to keep from burning my house down. Why would I buy more just to fit this one car?

The answer to my problem is the same as this companies last 1/10 MT release. Power-Tech Xtreme Quick Connect velcro straps.

Here is a link to get your own and be done with this latch system that is inadequate for bashing.

They are only $10 + shipping and will allow you to enjoy the car that is otherwise pretty good. I ordered the large which is a little oversized because it worked for the last one and I'm not sure how big the straps are for the medium. It may work as well or better.

The thing about the RC is that I was very excited to drive it that day after my first experience the night before. It's a ton of fun to drive (when the battery stays in). Once this problem is behind me, I can test out the rest of the car, but I refuse to drive something I deem this unsafe.
