Metepa by Foundation Cigars Robusto Cigar Review - This 5x50 box pressed stick features a very firmly packed, oily satin wrapper with a large pigtail cap, double cap and faint musty cocoa aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with thick full bodied plumes of rich smoke showing flavors of a light roast coffee, sweet cocoa, apricot like sweetness and building pepper zing and cayenne heat on the long finish. The first third burns slowly with just the sweetness shifting to a smoked molasses note, keeping everything else the same. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with flavors unchanged and perfect construction. holding a solid ash. Ending at 1:05 to the hot nub, the blend was largely the same just dropping the sweetness.
