Rosemary Murphy (1925-2014)

Rosemary Murphy, a distinguished German-American actress, had a remarkable career in stage, film, and television. Born in Munich, she honed her craft through training at various institutions. Her Broadway debut in 1950 marked the beginning of a successful stage career that included around 15 productions. She showcased her versatility in film and TV, earning an Emmy Award for "Eleanor and Franklin." Despite not marrying, she left behind a legacy of outstanding performances and contributions to the world of acting. She passed away on July 5, 2014, due to esophageal cancer.
