OREGON - Secretary of State Office "Ministry of Truth" using AI

The Oregon Secretary of State's office has put out an RFP for a contract searching for a vendor to provide services to monitor MAL information, MIS information and Dis information. Nikki Fisher (SOS office, Civic & Elections Education) and Phillip Andrews (SOS office Division of procurements and contracts) explain how this has been a project of the SOS office for the past 2 years. They explain this type of monitoring has been used to track PUBLIC EDUCATION and PSA's and now it will be used to track Information on the internet in regards to elections. The information that is collected from social media, websites, podcasts will be filtered to the SOS office on a weekly basis and will be examined to determine its threat. It seems that the SOS office is the sole determinate of what is a threat or what is not. What is MDM and what is not. Will questions, personal experiences that people post be determined a "threat"? The information could be escalated and reported to the police, FBI, national guard and other security entities.
