Preface
These notes have been jotted down at odd times, over a period of nearly two years, while the writer has been busily engaged in gospel work. They pretend to no literary value, and repetitions may sometimes occur. But such as they are, they are sent forth with the earnest hope that they may be blessed to some of “the quiet in the land” who enjoy simple things, plainly put.
