Arrau plays Beethoven

This is a clip of Claudio Arrau playing Beethoven's "Appassionata" 3rd Movement (op.57) on his 80th Birthday. Claudio is a testament to what we are capable of at the age of 80 if we are able to stay passionate.
Arrau was born in Chillán, Chile to Carlos Arrau, an ophthalmologist who died when Claudio was only a year old, and Lucrecia León Bravo de Villalba, a piano teacher.
