What To Do When a Company STEALS Your Photography and Images- Photo Theft by Rory LED Lights

The company at the heart of this issue is called Rory Lights. They took images that Jason used for his shoot done in 2017 using the ROTOLIGHT Aeos and pawned the shoot off as their own. They changed the side by side shots and used an image of Jason shooting with the lights to make it seem as if Jason used Rory Lights for the shoot.

Rory Lights used these images as sponsored ads on Instagram that attracted thousands of views without giving any credit to Jason, without providing any compensation for the use of his work, and even worse, committed fraud by trying to show the public that their lights were used to create work that they didn't create.

The video from where Rory Lights stole this work is listed below. This particular shoot landed Jason's shot on the cover of British Photography Magazine and is the shot that Rory Lights used as their own.

This video is intended to help photographers out there to know what to do if and when they have their images stolen or used without permission.

Please send these companies a complaint letting them know that what they have done is wrong and fraudulent and join Jason in boycotting their products.
