Welcome to Pastor Sally's teaching on Athaliah, the daughter of Jezebel in the Bible. Athaliah was the daughter of Ahab and Jezebel, two of the most notorious figures in the Bible. After her parents were killed, Athaliah seized power and became queen of Judah. She was known for her cruelty, and her reign was marked by violence and idolatry.
In our teaching, we will explore the story of Athaliah and the impact she had on the people of Judah. We will examine how her actions reflected her upbringing and the influence of her parents. We will also look at the ways in which her reign impacted the spiritual state of the nation of Judah.
