Hold Fast Vacuum Chuck Seal

I use some silicone, food coloring, and cornstarch to make a new seal for a hold fast vacuum chuck which will not mar the surface of a bowl.

The mixture is called proto-putty and is a concoction that is used by Grant Thompson over at The King of Random.
