The Worst Thing You Could Do If You’re Driving Drunk

On 11th June, 2022, An officer on patrol saw a suspicious car with tinted windows. Following protocol, he quickly made a traffic stop. Another officer arrived on the scene to inspect. At this point, the driver had started planning his escape in his mind. The officer is talking about CDL, which stands for Commercial Driver's License and is issued to drivers who operate heavy motor vehicles such as a bus or a truck. The driver deliberately tries to sabotage the breath test by not blowing hard enough and keeps the test going on for a long time. The officer was soon informed by the dispatch that the driver who ran away during their DUI test had crashed his car and had fled the scene with injuries. Officers examined the crash site and decided to search the area for any traces of the suspect but even after searching extensively, the police weren't able to find any traces of the suspect. The suspect was able to flee that day but 2 months later, he was again stopped by officers for vehicle registration violation and was arrested. He was charged with Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting a peace officer and DUI.
