Here is an article I just found that better expresses thoughts on psalm 22 and 23. Would you believe we sang How deep the Father's Love for Us Sunday morning, either before or after the pastor read psalm 23 over and over to see if anyone heard anything new??? That song is a well-loved and emotional song…but is it instilling a deeply errant theology. Wow. I just can't even fathom how the Lord is doing this! Are you catching the lesson? Does He turn His face away? It's worth some serious wrestling, I believe.
