MZTV 1349: Was the Prince of Tyrus Really a Cherub?

The King James version of Ezekiel chapter 28 tells us that an historical personage, namely the Prince of Tyrus, was actually a cherub—that is, a spiritual being with a bunch of wings and eyes. Imagine the birth announcement: Hilda Hildebrandt of Tyrus gave birth to, um, a healthy baby today. Might be a boy; not sure. Baby has four faces and two wings. Legs are straight, but feet are like calves' feet and gleaming like burnished bronze. Amber-colored body with igneous center. Speeds back and forth like flashes of lightning. Congratulations can be sent to Tyrus Medical Center, Obstetrics Division. Visitors required to observe 10,000-cubit perimeter and don protective eyewear; must bow down repeatedly.)

Christian expositors who hate the truth that God created evil (Isaiah 45:7) wish hard for a Deity responsible only for daffodils, pansies, cute puppies and raspberry ice-cream cones. In a desperate attempt to get God off the hook and make Satan the captain and curator of his own career, these expositors have hijacked Ezekiel 28. After mistranslating the chapter at several key junctures and then sprinkling fairy dust on it, they have declared this chapter to be an account of how Satan began his career as a good angel, only to become a Hell's angel. It is not known what exactly triggered the career switch; the expositors ran out of fairy dust. But the switch was decisive, that much we know.

This episode of MZTV challenges viewers in the grammar department, but pays off in an exciting, behind-the-curtain look at the operations of spiritual beings who supervise the governments of man.
