A U.S. District Court Judge has denied former Michigan House Speaker

The judge says the attempt to serve a portion of his 55-month prison sentence "unwarranted" and Johnson must report to a federal prison camp in two weeks. Johnson was already given one delay in serving prison time after undergoing heart surgery earlier this year. Johnson was convicted of bribery while serving as chairman of the Michigan Medical Marijuana Licensing Board between 2017 and 2019.
