A Word from Peder... and Abe Lincoln!!!

Hugo is out this week, but have no fear, the amazing sidekick Peder is here! Along with some age old wisdom from Honest Abe Lincoln and his famous Gettysburg Address. Hearts and Minds friends! We will win this political war by winning hearts and minds. No more toxic rhetoric, even if we're on the right side of the argument. We are all American, humans, image-bearers of our Creator. People need to hear the truth in LOVE. This is how we win, by being better. By showing love. By rising above all the bad blood out there.

Never before has our country been so divided since the Civil War. Now more than ever must we embrace our fellow Americans in the spirit of unity and LOVE. As Lincoln said, quoting Jesus out of the Gospels, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Wanna know the glue that holds that house together? Love.

This is what shows the world we do things different in our great nation. By loving each other. If we are so bent on being one nation under God, founded on the Bible, we must live out the most important principle in the Bible. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. If God is love, and in God we trust... then it's in LOVE we must hedge our bets. Love conquers all.
