They’ll try and excuse their crimes against Africans by telling us we ought to be grateful because they left a load of infrastructure behind and supposedly got us a leg-up onto the ladder of civilisation (sorry, who built the pyramids?). As if that could ever make up for the suffering they inflicted! All this infrastructure was anyway only ever built to service the settler population, it was never ‘meant’ for us.
