'Ugly, hostile': Man's 'unhinged' reaction to Jewish community's peaceful protest in Victoria

Sky News host Rita Panahi says the Jewish community at St Kilda in Victoria were holding a peaceful protest, which appeared to have triggered a man.

“Just ugly, hostile,” she said.

“This was about the most peaceful protest you can have – these people were pushing prams, empty prams to represent the young children, babies, that have been kidnapped.

“There’s this anti-Israel, anti-Semitic hostility in the community – it's undeniable right now.

“This is the unhinged reaction it gets.”

Ms Panahi’s remarks come as following Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, there’s been a spike in anti-Semitism.
