The John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids is releasing the names of its two new red panda cubs.

The cubs, now named Dawa and Nima, were named by community members in West Michigan who are from the Himalayan region, where red pandas are found. Dawa means "moon" and Nima means "sun."
