The start of the Year of the Lord 1623 was to be the SECOND Thanksgiving. Creating God's Commonwealth and the Law became front and Center over the next many years in creating COMMERCE. This is the way AMERICA was founded and the PILGRIMS had a very important method of determining how the Will of God through JUSTICE and PENANCE were resolved in creating and overcoming difficulties in the Early days of Colonial America. In 1636 the Primary issues were Social Order and the Pilgrims having learned from the Puritans before them to became more tolerant of people. After PENANCE to the Word of God and that had done Service with the elders approval they were brought back in. And with the agreement that they had satisfied God and could be an example to their humility.
