Ron DeSantis: ‘Trump Is the Best Turnout Machine for the Democrats’

DESANTIS: “Look, I think if it’s a rematch, I don’t think the public wants to see that, but I think the Democrats have a playbook that they know how to run against Donald Trump. And I don’t care. You know, they’re trying to show poll — I mean, first of all, they say any Republican will beat Biden, but remember, the polls said that we were going to have a red wave in 2022 — that didn’t happen. It happened in Florida. You know, poll said I was going to win, but most of them said, not by 20, and we won by way more than what the polls said. So I’d be very careful about this. I think at the end of the day, Trump is the best turnout machine for the Democrats, because he will ignite a lot of voters to want to come out and vote against him. And that gives the Democrats a big advantage.”
