Chad refugee crisis: UN says humanitarian disaster unfolding

The United Nations World Food Program is warning that aid for 1.4 million refugees in Chad could end because of limited funding. The aid agency says it will be forced to suspend assistance to refugees from Nigeria, Central African Republic and Cameroon next month. And that the suspension will be extended to all refugees in Chad by January.

That could affect hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing violence in Sudan's Darfur region.
