Rosy Oysterling

The Rosy Oysterling (Scytinotus longinquus) mushroom is commonly found growing in late winter on dead Deciduous trees (mostly Red Alder) but is also rarely found on dead Coniferous trees. The Rosy Oysterling is also known as Panellus longinquus and can be found in British Columbia, Alaska, Washington State, Oregon, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, and Eastern Australia.
