Government and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have engaged in a dialogue to address concerns impacting the harmonization of operations in the Oil and Gas sector.
CSOs highlighted challenges related to Access to Information and the overzealousness of security agencies, hindering their contribution to societal development.
The government acknowledged these concerns and committed to collaborative efforts in resolving the raised issues.
Simultaneously, new basins in Moroto, Kyoga, and Hoima are under exploration for licensing. Ivan Kaahwa reports.
